Certificate in Accounting and Payroll Administrator
Program Overview
The purpose of the Computerized Office Management certificate program is to provide students with the skills necessary to understand and apply the principles of payroll administrator in a computerized office environment. Student will learn accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and Payroll. Students have the opportunity to learn to operate computerized accounting software applications Simply Accounting. You will also learn computer software and spreadsheets for accounting applications.
Students will become members of the Canadian Payroll Association to enroll in the online CPA course. For membership information and to become a member of The Canadian Payroll Association, please complete and submit with payment ($165), their Membership Application Form available at http://www.payroll.ca/
Benefits to Participant
- Code, total, batch enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements in a ledger or computer system
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
- Perform related clerical duties such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
