1. Do you offer weekly information sessions on your programs?
Our information sessions are more like program workshops. The Coordinator of each specific program gives a PowerPoint presentation which covers the course content, methods of course delivery and job futures related to each of the industries represented.
2. Where are you located? What is the easiest way of getting there?
We are located on the SE corner of Kingsway and Willingdon avenue in the Crystal Office Tower. If you are driving we have free parking under the Crystal Mall. Enter the underground parkade from Kingsbourgh avenue, which runs parallel to Kingsway. If you are taking the Sky train, get off at the Metrotown station and walk two blocks west to Willingdon avenue. Enter through the HSBC entrance 4538 Kingsway and take the office tower elevator to the third floor.
3. When are your start dates for my program?
We offer our programs in a modular form, which allows us to have monthly intake dates for all of our program. This also allows us to offer an intensive professional training when you are ready to study. 4. I have been out of school for a long time, what is the average age of your students?
Most of our students are young adults, 30 to 35 years of age. We are experienced at helping immigrants get back into their career fields. Many of these qualified professionals had established careers and families in their own country. But it is difficult to have foreign credentials recognized in Canada, and we provide a bridge helping them to re-enter their profession.
5. How many hours a day will I be in class and what times are your classes offered?
You will receive 4 hours of instructor-led lecture and class work every day, five days a week, from Monday to Friday. Morning classes are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Afternoon classes run from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm and evening classes are offered from 6:15 to 10:15 pm.
6. How many people will be in my class?
Most of our classes are between twelve and twenty- five students depending on the program and the time of year.
7. Can I work full time and still attend the College?
The majority of our students are mature professionals who often keep a full time job while attending College. This allows them to advance in their profession.
8. Who finds the practicum and what is the student success rate from practicum to employment?
Vancouver Central College finds a practicum placement for every student. We pride ourselves on matching the appropriate students skill set to a practicum-provider that will fully utilize our students as their newest employee. We pay attention to the students' needs when they study with us; we get to know each individual, and this allows us to arrange a practicum to showcase each student's special expertise.
9. What are your admission requirements?
Students must be at least 19 years of age, have an intermediate level of English or better, and a high school diploma or equivalent

11. How long does it take to process an application?
Not long . If space is available in a class, then enrolling students can start the same day.

15. What if I need help with my studies?
Vancouver Central College offers a full academic support system to our students. We have in-class Teaching Assistants available as well as a list of available student tutors. Our Instructors are available after class to give extra help if needed. The professional and mature nature of our students has, in many cases, resulted in the formation of study groups that last well after the student has graduated.
