Our Mission

Vancouver Central College helps adults, and especially newcomers, become full participants of Canadian society. We provide opportunities for acquiring knowledge, credentials and marketable skills that lead to commensurate employment, or establish a foundation for higher education.

Goals

• To provide a serious learning environment where students with a variety of cultural backgrounds and language abilities can improve their lives through education.

• To enable students to study English while concurrently working on their vocational or academic program.

• To provide students with the opportunity to develop high-quality vocational skills that are recognized in the marketplace, and help them find good jobs.

• To provide academic preparation that is recognized by other academic institutions and enable students to successfully graduate to more advanced studies.
