Business English is available to students who study the career training program. It help students to participate more fully in social, and work-related settings. These are enabling skills that assist people in functioning fully in the workplace.

Topics
- Market Leader is a multi-level Business English course developed in association with the Financial Times.
- Business Grammar: encompasses a carefully selected syllabus chosen with the needs of business learners in mind. Students learn key differences in formal and informal English and when/where it is appropriate. Differences (and similarities) in US, UK and Canadian structures and spelling are also learned.

Business Vocabulary: covers a huge range of business topics including: jobs; people and organizations; production; marketing; finance and the economy, and business culture. Learners will develop essential business communication skills, focusing on the language used for meetings, negotiations and presentations.
- Business Idioms and Phrasal Verbs: Students get help with this difficult area of business vocabulary by first seeing idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs in authentic contexts and then giving learners opportunities to practise them.
- Business Writing: a practical class designed to improve written communication skills in the workplace. Essential language and vocabulary are presented in context with a variety of exercises and assignments.
- Job Search and Interview: Lessons focus on helping students find employment once they have completed their courses at Vancouver Central College.
